KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM
Kindergartners are an “active” community of learners! Our Kindergarten program encourages students to ask questions, solve problems and express their thoughts and feelings, as they engage themselves in meaningful discussions and learning activities.
Language development is encouraged by social interactions and language-rich experiences. Morning messages, shared reading, writing prompts, and phonemic skills are utilized to enhance literacy skills. Students will be able to blend letter sounds together to form words, identify and spell sight words, and begin to read simple sentences.
Our hands-on math experiences provide opportunities for observing, exploring, predicting and problem-solving. The students manipulate concrete objects to explore number and calendar concepts, measurement, time telling, counting money, addition and subtraction.
The foundation of Social Studies begins with students’ personal experiences and their relation to their families, homes, and schools. Their knowledge will expand to understanding the community we live in and the larger world around us. Students will understand the differences in cultures and lifestyles around the world, as well as our countries’ symbols and history.
Science is an exciting and fun part of our curriculum because students have a natural curiosity for the world around them. Observing real-life objects, such as seeds, and experimenting with various materials help students develop early science concepts.

Our Bible curriculum focuses on helping students understand that God is their creator, who loves and cares deeply for them. The students continue to develop and deepen their relationship with God as they listen to Bible lessons, memorize scripture, sing praise songs, and pray together during morning devotion and Bible class. Scripture memorization is utilized and Bible characters are studied so students will learn to trust in God’s promises and apply Godly virtues to their lives.
Learning Activities
Children learn best through exposure to a quality classroom curriculum as well as interesting ideas and materials. Our Elementary classes provide the necessary space and learning tools for children to build and strengthen their academic skills.
Bible Teachings
We believe that knowledge of God and His Word is an important component of every child’s development. Bible stories, songs, and prayer are integrated into the curriculum topics and are practiced in our daily routines.
